San-do-val  

It's quite a fascinating piece, crafted from a type of volcanic rock known for its durability and rich dark color. Melvin has done an impressive job in capturing the essence of a skunk with meticulous attention to detail. The slightly curved back, the distinct stripes along the body, and even those pungent-smelling glands on either side - all are intricately carved into the solid stone. What strikes me most is how lifelike it looks; one can almost imagine this little creature coming to life. 

Skunk- The (subik'o) represents inner strength, self-respect, and a good reputation.
