Daryl Collects this rock in Ojo Caliente, a farming village 15 miles southwest of Zuni.  The stone is actually Onyx and he use the natural formation of the stone to bring this Jay to life. The natural patterns and textures of the stone give the carving a sense of authenticity and character.
