Jeff was born into a family of accomplished Zuni jewelers. Working as a silversmith at an early age and soon developed a reputation for his fine lapidary work. He began carving 15+ years ago, incorporating his lapidary skills creating "micro-inlay". He did his first carving at the age of 11.
